It’s not all about me!

I am an artist, self taught in hand painting china, porcelain and tiles. I started in the 80’s with 6 plates, 2 brushes and some packets of on glaze colours. I started my business in 1994 and now have many colours and two kilns.

My inspiration comes from the Suffolk country side and sea where I live.

But it's definately not all about me..... for James and Lynette I created a design based on the flowers of their wedding day and hand painted gifts for their bridesmaids.

For Emily and Matthew, I hand painted plant and tea light holders for their wedding reception tables, based on their wedding invitation design and hand wrote their chosen Percy Shelley poem. All in a colour to match the wedding ribbons.

Over the years, Fiona has ordered mushroom money boxes for each of her grandchildren. The money boxes have their name above the door, their birthday, birth weight and time of birth included in the design.

Other commissions include vases, lamp bases, picture and box frames. (Box frames house a ceramic tile under glass with written words and design). All of these pieces with a design and written information pertaining to the special occasion, wedding, birth, christening or just a tooth fairy pots for little ones.

My loving memories plaques are hand painted with tribute words or poems remembering loved ones.
